Zak Taylor-Fray
Based in Sheffield, England, Zak is an enthusiastic Pedal Steel Guitar player, with over 10 years experience as a pro musician! He has extensive experience performing in small, medium and large venues, and also recently acquired his BA(Hons) Degree in Music Recording, so he has an excellent knowledge of recording techniques and production too!
Zak plays both E9th and C6th tunings of pedal steel. He can read notation, follow chord charts, and he also has a good musical ear and can write/improvise appropriate parts for any style/genre of music. (He can also emulate the sounds/playing styles of famous PSG players!)

Performance
I will travel to record at your chosen studio or recording space. This is the most authentic way to record and allows us to communicate during the recording process.
I will record Steel Guitar from my home studio, following any instructions you have. Recordings will be of very high quality, and can also be processed, mixed and mastered, if needed.
I will travel and perform as part of your band or event.
