Me & Steel Guitar

​The Steel Guitar first caught my attention when I heard Lloyd Green and Jay Dee Maness playing on The Sweetheart of The Rodeo album, by The Byrds. I think I was around 16 years old when I bought that album, and I can remember sitting on the floor in my room, right in front of the speakers, and being blown away by every single song on the album.

Personally, country music is my favourite genre of music, especially that classic Bakerfield sound, but I enjoy many different genres of music, and particularly like the challenge of playing PSG in styles of music where it wouldn't typically appear!
